This class is meant to teach parents the skills they will need to work with their child every day in preparation for the Gifted and Talented exam. This exam is given to children in the spring before Kindergarten or if child is Kindergarten the testing will begin in October or November.

These classes will be held the third Thursday of the month at the Heights location.

Cost of this class will be $100 per couple/single parent or $150 with materials.

All participants will receive handouts with information we talked about. All participants are encouraged to take notes.

Raising a Socially Mindful Child

Teaching your child how to handle situations that can make you, your child or others feel awkward will happen many times in their young lives. Understanding how to address issues of race, religion, sexuality, poverty and body differences makes a big difference in how your child will see the world and the people in it.

Research shows these issues should be addressed starting very young to help children see the world in the most real way possible and develop empathy, compassion and acceptance for all.

This class is held the second Thursday of every month and cost is $30.

You can too!

Bring your child, age three to four to my environment for lessons on how to prepare a home environment, talk to and encourage your child and what to be teaching. We will also focus on the correct way to praise and when to sit back and let your child struggle.

By Appointment only

Two days, two hours each day for a total of four hours.

Includes one home visit to help you at home.

Cost is $200, second child $150.

Group discounts available. Max of 4 children per session.
